How Local JPG to AVIF Conversion Keeps Files in Your Browser
Images selected in the converter are decoded, resized, encoded, and packaged by code running in the current browser tab. The application does not upload source images or converted AVIF files to a JPGtoAVIF.com server. No account is required, and the converter does not create a cloud image library.
The page creates temporary object URLs so previews and downloads work locally. Those URLs are valid only in your browser context and are revoked when queue items are removed or the page is closed. Refreshing the page clears the active queue and completed conversions.
Website Requests and Hosting Logs for an AVIF Converter
Loading any public website sends ordinary request data to its hosting and network providers. That data may include an IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamp, response status, and security signals used for delivery, reliability, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.
Image bytes selected through the converter are not attached to those page requests. Infrastructure providers may retain technical request logs under their own systems and legal obligations, but those logs do not contain the browser-local converter queue.
Cookies, Local Storage, and Image Conversion Settings
The current converter does not require an account cookie and does not save the active image queue or conversion output in local storage. Quality and resize controls reset when a new page session starts. Essential platform or security features may still use technical storage required to serve the site.
The current site does not include behavioral advertising or a script that receives image contents. If analytics, advertising, or non-essential storage is added later, this policy and any required consent controls must be updated before that change is deployed.
Support Email and Image Converter Privacy
When you email support, your email provider and ours process the address, message, headers, and attachments you choose to send. Avoid attaching private images. A useful issue report can usually be written with source format, dimensions, settings, browser version, and an error message.
Support correspondence may be retained long enough to investigate a report, document a correction, and prevent abuse. It is not combined with an on-site image history because the site does not receive or retain the converter queue.
